Meat in Space, the solo project of San Francisco Bay Area musician Shawn Stedman, is the creative force behind the original EP “Tangerine.” Stedman takes on the roles of songwriter, performer, and mix engineer, showcasing his versatility and talent. Influenced by garage rock, psych rock, 90s alternative rock, and grunge, “Tangerine” embodies a raw and DIY spirit reminiscent of artists like Ty Segall, early Nirvana, and King Gizzard. The debut EP marks a significant milestone for Meat in Space, with all tracks recorded on analog tape, culminating in a nostalgic and authentic sound experience
