“It’s an acoustic gospel song about Jesus this time”, says Sara Vian, “when Pete sent me the riff I could see a troubled cowboy in the desert and it just took me on a journey into the redemptive power of love, prayer and community in very challenging times.” The song was engineered and produced at The Bert Jansch Studio (Frome) and Axe & Trap Studio (Wells).
Judas Goat and the Bellwether is the love child of Pete Vincent, a multi-instrumentalist from Yeovil and Sara Vian, a singer/songwriter from Frome; described as indie-rock alchemy, transforming leaden woes into sonic gold with sweet, melancholic riffs, moody basslines & powerful, nuanced vocal performances with luscious harmonies.
