Healing Hearts is RISE’s Single Out Now

Good Day Noir Family,
RISE’s single “Healing Hearts” opens with a vocal section that brings to mind African chant-like harmonies, setting an evocative tone right from the start.

Healing Hearts is RISE’s Single Out Now

As the full band kicked in, the crisp, shimmering cymbals immediately caught my ear, creating a sonic texture that seemed to ignite creative thoughts.

The vocals sit in an intriguing space, somewhere between the dreamy quality of Genesis and the raw sincerity of Adam Duritz from Counting Crows.

There’s a slight tremble in the delivery that adds an interesting layer of vulnerability, reminiscent of Duritz’s signature style.

What stands out in this track is its subtle sophistication. Around the three-minute mark, the song strips back, leaving room to fully appreciate the delicate cymbal work, which feels like fleeting meteors streaking through the atmosphere.

The track builds patiently through the bridge, leading to a grand and satisfying finale.

The harmonies throughout are lush, and the arrangements are beautifully crafted, showcasing RISE’s knack for producing refined, thoughtful music that nods to legendary bands of the past.
