Their sound is rich with influences, bringing to mind iconic artists like David Bowie and Nick Cave, yet it carries a unique flavor that keeps you glued to the speakers from start to finish.

“He Sat At The Table,” the opening track, sets the tone with a haunting intensity. The piano and passionate vocal delivery create an atmosphere that feels ancient and nostalgic, pulling you into a deeply emotional space.

This mood shifts with “Time Is An Illusion,” a track that echoes Radiohead with its slightly more optimistic vibe. Despite this, the harmonic choices add an intriguing instability, keeping the listener on edge in the best possible way.

“The World Outside Our Door” introduces a medieval element, emphasized by the guitar’s delicate arpeggio, demonstrating the duo’s refined compositional abilities.

The title track, “Fake It Till You Make It,” leans heavily into alternative rock with a vintage energy that feels familiar and fresh. The driving drums and relentless piano arpeggio build a dynamic and epic atmosphere that captures the essence of the album.

“Will You Mourn” offers a touch of Noir/Jazz, its gentle melody carrying the listener away on a wave of imagination.

Another standout, “Shadows,” is a beautiful ballad in the style of Bowie, highlighted by the rich tones of the Hammond organ and a nearly theatrical vocal performance that’s truly unique.

Each track on this album is solid, showcasing the duo’s ability to blend styles and create something that’s powerful and nuanced.
