Good Day Noir Family,
Music These Days’ Big Wide States is a breath of fresh air in the contemporary music landscape.

One Eye Cry is Music These Days’ Single Out Now

The band has successfully captured the essence of American roots music, blending folk, country, and bluegrass into a cohesive and authentic sound. Their music evokes images of wide-open spaces and heartfelt storytelling.

The album opens with the gentle ballad “Redwood Home,” a nostalgic track reminiscent of the Eagles.

The band’s ability to shift gears is evident in “City of Granite,” which boasts a lively bluegrass feel.  This track is genuine and uplifting, with a strong sense of optimism.

The introduction of piano in “Gold Plated Tears” adds delicacy and intensity to the album’s sound.

“One Eye City” takes a slight detour into alternative rock territory, with echoes of R.E.M. The song’s driving rhythm and ethereal atmosphere create an intriguing contrast to the album’s predominantly folk-based tracks.

Another track with pure country charm is “Right Tool For The Job,” a track that can paint vivid pictures before your eyes and you see the lyrics becoming frames of the story.

The production is impeccable, allowing the natural warmth of the instruments to shine through. It’s clear that Music These Days is composed of highly skilled musicians who have a deep appreciation for the genre.

This album is a must-listen for fans of Americana music and anyone seeking a genuine and heartfelt listening experience.
