The sound of this band hooked me from the first second.
Alternative rock with influences from the past. I was struck by the great interpretive personality of the singer. A peculiar voice distinguishes the sound of this band and makes you think of bands from the 80s.
You feel that these guys have spent a lot of time in the rehearsal room to achieve such an enviable musical balance.
Uncontrollable is a song that exudes the typically English compositional style.
This is Call To The Void’s debut single and I have to say that this band already demonstrates that they have a solid artistic vision.
The harmonic and dynamic construction of this tune is impeccable.
A band to keep under the radar as they produce quality music.

Based in the south east corner of the UK with London roots, the story begins with two brothers John McGlade on guitar and Matt McGlade on drums along with a lifelong friend John Settle on the bass bringing the low end. Formerly under the moniker ‘DENY ALL’ and in search of a frontman, enter vocalist Jack Osborne.
After a year of writing, rehearsing and developing their sound together as a band with Jack, came a new energy, attitude, identity and a new name…
‘CALL TO THE VOID’
Translated from the French expression ‘L’appel du Vide’ – CTTV is the phenomena many experience when faced with a fearful height and inability to resist the compulsion to jump. When asked what evoked the name, Jack revealed where he got the inspiration; “Like a dark secret so many of us keep, the expression has always called to me, with its eerie and somewhat taboo yet relatable subject matter. Control and impulse are so much of what makes us human.”
In early 2023 the band entered Bonafide Studio in London for their first recording session with studio owner & sound engineer Brian Bogdanovic. With each member musically influenced from different angles & eras, the self-produced debut single ‘UNCONTROLLABLE’ boasts a seductive tale of temptation and a modernized nod to the 1980’s. A punchy & poetic collision of hypnotic vocals, upbeat riffs and a unique British garage rock sound which delivers a catchy hook laden ear-worm for the dance-floor and beyond.
