As soon as I pressed the play button it was as if my eyes were transformed into a Super 8 camera.
I began to look at the world differently… like in those 70’s movies. I imagined myself driving a convertible through the streets of the french riviera.
My Favorite Song is a mature tune because it makes you understand that the good things in life lie in the little things that we often take for granted.
A nostalgic but at the same time passionate song that makes you want to dance and let yourself go.
Arn-Identified Flying Objects and Alien Friends is a great communicator and his songs always manage to excite me.
A beautiful tune that I will listen to many times this summer.

“I was aiming for the sound and feel of the mid seventies on this one. I asked drummer Andreas Quincy Dahlbäck if he could play it like Ronnie Tutt (Elvis’s drummer in the Vegas years), which he did with panache! The lyrics concludes that life can be shit – but that it has beautiful moments: a favourite song played on radio, the smell of roses during summer, a cup of coffee.”
In another life ALIEN FRIEND plays guitar and sings in the Swedish band REDMOON. This is his solo project.
During 2021 ARN-IDENTIFIED FLYING OBJECTS AND ALIEN FRIENDS has released a string of singles and a double album. The latter, co-produced by legendary David Myhr (from the Merrymakers) brings together elements of power pop, folk and indie rock, but although many of the songs might be rooted in musical soil of the sixties and the seventies, there’s no nostalgia here. The lyrics are heartfelt and poetic, sometimes ironic, but contemporary and always honest.
A big group of musicians have contributed on the project. Apart from multitalented David Myhr who plays several instruments on many tracks – and shares lead vocals on some of them – the friends in REDMOON must be mentioned: Daniel Lagerlöf, Åke Lindgren and Johan Lundström.
More good things are yet to come. Three new singles launches during 2022. The first of these, the melancholic By Your Bed was released in May. A full length-album will hit the shelves in the beginning of 2023.
