Oblivion is Arrows of the Sun’s Single Out Now
The compositional style of this band immediately hooked me.
An unusual fascinating, intense, and sincere folk rock. The singer’s voice is warm and makes you believe in the words of the lyrics.
The delicate choirs that accompany the main melody are also fantastic.
The acoustic guitar creates a nice rhythm right from the start. The song is flawlessly harmonically constructed. A crescendo of emotions. The dynamic progression is full of variations and keeps you glued to the speakers from the first to the last second.
Oblivion is a superb tune, I would see it well as the soundtrack of one of those English independent films set in the suburbs.
It is evident that Arrows of the Sun make music not for commercial success but to convey strong emotions to the listener.
This is the real music, a beautiful discovery that I recommend to everyone.
Oblivion is Arrows of the Sun’s Single Out Now!
Intense!
This latest release from Arrows of the Sun is a slowly building acoustic folk number, with a rustic rock meets indie rock feel. The lyrics as once again a meditation on death which seems like a recurring theme for this band. But the mood and imagery is light and positive.
Arrows of the Sun are a collection of friends and neighbours from a small village near Oxford.
