This band has created a very interesting sound blend.
For compositional skills, they reminded me of bands like Radiohead. An alternative rock, refined and nostalgic that has the ability to speak to the soul and heart of the listener.
It is evident that Blue Coffee spend a lot of time in the rehearsal room in fact they have achieved an enviable musical alchemy.
The style is unique, a typically European approach with some American influences of bands like Counting Crows…it’s just these details that make Blue Coffee’s music stand out from the crowd.
The production is good and the interpretation by all the band members is impeccable.
A band to keep under the radar as they produce intriguing songs.
Go and listen to them, it’s worth it.

Dolphins is Blue Coffee’s Single Out Now
You can’t usually chose moment of a meeting…
It’s the loss of a mutual friend, musician they used to play with in two different band, at end of 2017 summer, which brought singer and guitarist Gautier Rodriguez, drummer Nico de Bank and bassist Sebastien Tourel together.
They met again in January and once their wish to work together was confirmed, they decided to see where inspiration would lead them.
Two of their friends, co-singer Aurelie Cestari (who leaves the band some months later) and guitarist Francois Debiol quickly joined them. So, the real first sessions began in February 2018.
Some old songs written by Gautier R and Nico de B, are rearranged by the band and some new ones emerge. Five songs are selected to be recorded and produced as a first experiment, in Banon home studio during 2019.
The first EP Silent came out in December 2019.
The second album “In and Out” were recorded in the same way from Fall 2019 to february/march 2020, in 3-4 weekend sessions.
In 2022, Last Dance is the first released single.
Blue Coffee decided to release the songs one by one instead of a full album.
The single Dolphins is released out now.
