Good Day Noir Family,
welcome to Edgar Allan Poets indie music corner. A space dedicated to the best new artists and bands we find around the web. Today’s feature artist is Asaf Ashkenazy and his Ep Dog In Yard.
Dog In Yard is Asaf Ashkenazy’s Ep Out Now
The rock proposed by this artist is refined and above all contains intense lyrics and emotions that the artist wants to share with the world.
The arrangements are qualitatively impeccable and in some moments the music of Asaf Ashkenazy made me think of artists like Nick Cave.
I really liked the tracks sung in Hebrew, a truly fascinating touch.
This music makes you travel with your imagination and I saw myself flying over the magnificent landscapes of the land of Israel.
Asaf Ashkenazy is a songwriter with a great compositional experience behind him. The chord progression is never obvious and banal.
I recommend listening to this Dog In Yard more than once and to enjoy it in small sips like a glass of aged whiskey.
An artist to keep under the radar as it composes beautiful music.
Dog In Yard is Asaf Ashkenazy’s Ep Out Now!
Superb!
“Dog in the yard” is Asaf Ashkenazy’s first mini-album (EP) – four songs in English and one in Hebrew.

During 2021 Asaf teamed up with producer Shahar Kaufman and together the two created a quality and diverse mini- album, moving in the realms of rock/folk /pop rock/Americana.
Asaf has been performing for several years all over the country with an original acoustic/electric show.
