Goodbye Wilfred is Jack Quit the Band’s Single
The music proposed by this band releases contagious positive energy.
A very instinctive compositional method that does not follow commercial rules but is simply the pure expression of true emotions.
You can feel these guys are having fun while playing together. The hours spent in the rehearsal room to find the right understanding, the beers, and the jokes all help to create this enviable musical chemistry.
Jack Quit the Band have a very interesting musical vision that makes them stand out from the crowd.
Their compositional freedom has allowed them to take musical paths never traveled before and to propose arrangements that are out of the ordinary. These elements mixed together created a truly original sound blend.
Goodbye Wilfred is a beautiful alternative rock song, which can also be related to punk and grunge as a compositional attitude.
On a warm and quiet Saturday afternoon back in September 2021, four low-key guys in Oslo Norway decided, after having talked about it at a BBQ the weekend before, to start the dream project: a genuine Midwest Emo band. For the uninitiated, you could describe Midwest Emo as simply nothing more, but definitely nothing less, than an intricate intertwined combination of genres culminating in country jazz punk.
Unfortunately, after finally getting together with proper equipment, a place to practice, and a couple of twinkly guitar noodle riffs, our second guitarist, Jack, decided to quit the band before it had really started. The band was born, Jack Quit the Band.
