Good Day Noir Family,

Azimuth is Mighty Brother’s Album
This music made me step back into the past as these songs are sophisticated and reminded me of the way of making music of many years ago.
Although the inspiration from the past is evident, the sound is still modern. Sometimes looking back allows you to take a leap forward.
With this compositional approach, The Mighty Brothers have created a sound blend that makes them stand out from the crowd.
The artistic vision of this band is truly unique and original, frankly, it’s been a long time since I’ve heard tunes so out of the ordinary.
You can feel that The Mighty Brothers spent a lot of time in the rehearsal room refining the sound and creating this enviable musical alchemy.
All the songs on the album are solid, sometimes I heard nuances of the Doors, and at other times the Beatles…but frankly this band’s music can’t be labeled, as these guys have decided to walk a different musical path.
A nice discovery, the quality of the arrangements is masterful. You will definitely fall in love with this music.
Indie rock band Mighty Brother released their fourth studio album, Azimuth! This 11-track concept album follows the mythical hero’s journey through modern society. The term azimuth describes the angle between the north and a celestial object. The band found this to be a fitting name for the album, as the theme is holding on to one’s sense of self while navigating hardships. The album has a nostalgic feel and was inspired by the longingness for normalcy that the pandemic created. It details the band’s experience with loss, perseverance, and growth. The New Orleans-based band has cultivated a groovy and unique sound like never before heard with their new album, Azimuth.
