I liked the sound of this band a lot as it lives in its own limbo.
A compositional style that takes inspiration from the past but manages to be modern at the same time.
The melodies of these songs are ethereal and nostalgic and hide very refined nuances.
An alternative rock that brings the sound of this band closer to artists like Cold Play and The National but in which I have heard details of Jimmy Somerville and Pet Shop Boys.
Surely we are faced with musicians with a great compositional experience behind them as the quality of these songs is very high.
Cinema Sounds have managed to create a unique and fascinating sound blend that sets them apart from the crowd.
Go and listen to them, it is worth it!

Cinema Sounds is Blueprint Tokyo’s Ep
Based in Oklahoma City, Blueprint Tokyo is about new beginnings. Consisting of members Kevin Dawson and Andrew Hale, the duo revised their musical journey after health issues sidelined Dawson. Armed with new songs that have been called “intense, tender and driving with 80’s inspired indie rock dreaminess” the band has started making waves with catchy hooks, atmospheric sounds, and surprisingly hopeful lyrics.
