Good Day Noir Family,
welcome to Edgar Allan Poets indie music corner. A space dedicated to the best new artists and bands we find around the web. Today’s featured Band is JellYCopter and their Album Cease and Desist.
Cease and Desist is JellYCopter’s Album
This band offers a slightly vintage sound and while you listen to their songs it seems to open a drawer where inside you find old yellowed polaroids that bring to mind memories of the past.
The compositional approach of JellYCopter is direct and instinctive, a somewhat raw sound which, however, in my opinion, is a perfect artistic choice as it makes their artistic vision even more sincere.
The songs, melodically speaking, are very catchy and the chord progression is never banal.
The choirs are also interesting and a special mention goes to the guitarist who proposed really intense guitar solos.
It feels like this band is enjoying while playing and composing these songs. Cease and Desist is definitely a solid album.
A nice discovery that I recommend to everyone.
