The modern and innovative sound produced by this duo is very interesting.
This music seems to come from the future. As soon as I hit the play button I immediately liked the rhyming candence of Perfect Imperfection (2010).
The pressing rhythm is supported by an intricate and refined melodic line that in some moments reminded me of the Pet Shop Boys and in others the Depeche Mode.
The chord progression is very well thought out and the melodic variations and nuances are of absolute quality.
The sound of NORÐIR stands out from the crowd and establishes itself as an innovative and original artistic project.
These guys seem to have clear ideas on how to offer their music to the world, their artistic vision is mature and solid.
I recommend everyone to go and listen to them you will be surprised by the quality of their songs.

Perfect Imperfection (2010) is NORÐIR’s Single
NORÐIR are two full blooded musicians with a fascination for time travel and world history. Equipped with a mysterious time machine, electric drums, looper, electric guitars, synthesizers, visual effects and 3 languages, the band catapults the audience on a journey through time.
Musically, NORÐIR perform a balancing act of several epochs. Edgy 80’s synth-pop sound meets the psychedelic soundscapes of the ’60s and envelops clever, contemporary indie pop arrangements: Indietronic. This works not only on stage but also on Spotify (90,000+ streams for the 1st single “No Hell No”).
The band, made up of Viktor (born in Siberia) and Lars (born in Malaysia), is campaigning against xenophobia and for world openness and regularly participates in peace festivals such as Festival Contre Le Racisme, Pax Terra Musica and the Ulm Peace Weeks.
