CRUCIAL is the debut single from Stockholm-based producer and vocalist Penny. It’s an imperfect perfection, a dirty sound cascade with throbbing bass surrounded by mysterious sounds. From the whispering, uncanny vocals comes words about being transformed from states of paralyzing anxiety, back to life again, thanks to certain words from someone else. Released on Thanatosis, it’s co-produced by Anton Toorell (Receptacles, Dammit I’m Mad, Invader Ace) and Alex Zethson (Sven Wunder, Mariam the Believer) and mastered by Hans Olsson at Svenska Grammofonstudion.
