Ghost of Rome is Tracksuit’s Single | Indie Music
The sound of this band is very interesting. A compositional style that takes its cue from the past but manages to be modern at the same time.
Tracksuit certainly spent a lot of time in the rehearsal room to achieve such an enviable musical balance.
A band that proves to have good compositional ability as the chord progression is never predictable and banal.
Of the new single Ghost of Rome I really liked the bluesy solo, intense and passionate. As I was listening to the guitar screaming I imagined Nero watching Rome burn … this song would have been the ideal soundtrack for that historic moment.
Tracksuits have a complete musical vision and compose quality music. I recommend everyone to go and listen to them.

Ghost of Rome is Tracksuit’s Single | Indie Music
Tracksuit is an indie-rock band based out of Chapel Hill, NC. The band is made up of songwriter/multi-instrumentalist Brendan Rice, bassist Tyler Harrington and drummer Marcus Johnson. Tracksuit utilizes an array of musical styles, layered production and expressive baritone vocals to create its memorable and inviting sound. The political rocker, “Ghost of Rome” follows the critically acclaimed release of “Area #51”, as the second single off of Tracksuit’s upcoming full-length album, Hidden Worlds.
Taking inspiration from artists like the Clash and Neil Young, “Ghost of Rome” is a snide, political rocker that takes aim at the corruption of the current American political and legal systems and the erosion of American civil institutions and liberties in the name of good old Capitalism.
