Chucky is perhaps one of the most successful horror characters. Who would have thought that a Good Guy doll could be so scary?

Good Guy Chucky Doll
Chucky is animated by the spirit of Charles Lee Ray, a weirdo born in 1958 who has always shown the aptitudes of a serial killer.
After becoming a voodoo expert Charles was able to transfer his soul into a Good Guy doll. And from that day on Chucky began to terrorize everyone around him.
The price of a Good Guy doll is more or less $500 nowadays and it is 30″ tall. The original Chucky Doll sold for $10.000 and you can find it at The Fort East Martello Museum in Key West, Florida.
Although the idea of the movie is a bit grotesque it must be specified that when the first film was released, this type of genre was very popular.
Gremlins made in 1984 talks about these cute-looking beings who can become evil. The characters are different the concept is very similar to that of Chucky.
Surely Don Mancini, the creator of this character, would never have thought of achieving such success.

We’ve always liked horror movies from the 80s. They are a bit naive and a lot of times they are comical. The colors of the film and the lights are always very strong and that cinematic look is immediately recognizable.
Many films of that era have become cults such as Freddy Krueger or Firestarter which is in theaters now with the remake.
