Good Day Noir Family,
I already reviewed Nick Cody And The Heartache in the past but this artist is back with a new single ‘That Gal Is Cool As’ and I want to share my opinion about it.

This music made me breathe a sigh of relief.
As soon as I hear sincere music, made of real instruments and played by musicians who know what they are doing, I am always happy.
We are inundated with computers and beats and we are losing the soul of the music. Luckily artists like Nick Cody And The Heartache keep the passion for real music alive.
The new single That Gal Is Cool As is inspired by a young musician who played with Dylan in 1975.
I have not found any flaws in terms of recording, execution, and interpretation. Another solid song that demonstrates Nick Cody And The Heartache‘s developed compositional skills.
If you want to spend 3 pleasant minutes, press the play button. You will be surprised how many emotions this music can give you.

The track is about Scarlet Rivera who at the age of 19 played violin in Dylan’s 1975 band and on the
classic Desire album.
The chorus from this song was inspired by Kit Baily (wife of international guitarist MarKn Simpson), commenting “That Gal’s as cool as f**k!” on seeing Scarlet Rivera, in Martin Scorsese’s “Rolling Thunder Revue” documentary.
For radio purposes there are no expletives in the single, but the track is littered with Bob Dylan references from this classic musical period.
Many thanks for the review, its greatly appreciated
Warm Regards
Nick
