Honestly, I’ve never knew much about skateboarding.
This video made me understand a little more about the mindset of people who love this sport.
With a superficial look, Skateboarding seems a simple thing, in reality it takes a lot of training to be able to do even the simplest trick.
The passion that drives these guys to get up after each fall is contagious. It seems like a metaphor for life…

Teen Mortgage’s song Smoked is the perfect soundtrack to describe the images in this video. This song has a particular energy and seems to transfer it to skateboarders.
The locations are beautiful, you can see the real America of the suburbs. Where friends meet and spend the afternoons trying a new trick with their board.
The shots are great and literally make you feel there with them. Teen Mortgages know their audience and always entertain them with great art products.

Smoked is Teen Mortgage’s New Video | Edgar Allan Poets
The official “SMOKED” music video is a collab between Teen Mortgage and Superstone Skateboarding, a based skateboarding content brand and community. The song itself is a tribute to the primal catharsis that happens while skateboarding, whether it’s landing your trick or falling on your face. This project serves as Superstone’s the first slam compilation.
Garage punk two piece Teen Mortgage climbed out of Washington DC’s primordial hardcore soup in 2017. Drenched in the left – over fuzz and sludge of their local scene, the duo quickly bulldozed their way to a regional reputation after assaulting the publics’ ears on incessant east coast tours and opening for notable bands such as Ron Gallo, Surf Curse, Big Business, Alex Lahey, The Chats, Bass Drum of Death, JEFF The Brotherhood, Mike Krol, The Coathangers, Meatbodies etc.
