The powerful and epic sound of this band immediately thrilled me.
A compositional style that takes its cue from the past but manages to be modern at the same time. These guys are great musicians indeed. The chord progression is never predictable and banal and entertains the listener from the first to the last second.
Bleeding Sun have managed to create enviable musical alchemy between them. The long hours in the rehearsal room and the blood on the instruments allowed them to reach this level.
I was literally speechless when I heard the bridge with the guitar solo at minute 2.34. That wonderful passage made me understand the talent of this band. The intricate rhythm and the originality of the solo’s melody is something that only instinct can provide
There are a lot of people who play well, but there are few artists who go further. This is just the first single from this band so I expect fireworks from them in the future.
Absolutely recommended.

Hard Rock and Metal trio, Bleeding Sun, make their debut with “Suffocated”.
Brought together through Clint Lowery’s (Sevendust) Patreon Group, Brett, Gabriel, and Ken began sharing demos and riffs. Creating an original metal band with other musicians who share the same musical influences, vocabulary, and work ethic is something they have each desired for a long time.
In addition to the release of the debut single, “Suffocated”, Bleeding Sun will provide a steady flow of videos and interactive content; followed by more singles and a full album in 2023.
Authentic, down-to-earth, driven, funny, resilient, and relatable are all words you would use to describe their vibe. Their music and lyrics come from real-life experiences. “Over the last year or two, there’s been a lot of lows in my life. This song is about those struggles and how life can take so much away from you so fast, it leaves you feeling Suffocated,” stated Brett.
