our “E.A.Poets Approved/Bands We Like” section is dedicated to The Sighs of Monsters. I discovered this band while shuffling songs on Spotify and I like the uniqueness of their music.
The compositional style proposed by this band immediately struck me.
Music that focuses heavily on the lyrics accompanied by innovative melodies and chord progressions.
The melody of the new single Bird Shot hides sinister atmospheres and somehow creates anxiety … an artistic choice obviously, wanted by the band given the theme covered by this song.
I must say that I was especially intrigued by the chorus, the vocal melody, and the harmonic sequence is truly exceptional.
Surely we are faced with highly experienced musicians as the attention to every minimum nuance is maniacal.
The Sighs of Monsters have managed to create music that places them in a limbo of their own.
A beautiful discovery that I recommend to everyone.
