Good Day Noir Family,
I already reviewed The F-use in the past but they are back with a new cool single and I want to share my opinion about it.
It’s Not Over is The F-use’s New Single | Edgar Allan Poets
The epic sound of this band immediately won me over.
I have to admit that I was very impressed by the compositional skills of the main architect of this musical project Matthew Estevez.
The influences of Foo Fighters are evident but to be honest I prefer the sound of The F-use more than that of the band led by Dave Grohl. In particular, the voice seems much more expressive to me and the timbre manages to give the right energy to the whole sound of this band.
You can feel that these guys spent a lot of time in the rehearsal room to achieve such enviable musical chemistry.
The F-use know how to play and the chord progression is never predictable and banal … the new single It’s Not Over is a wild ride that pushes from start to finish.
A direct rock sound that hits you like a punch in the face … absolutely recommended!
It’s Not Over is The F-use’s Single Out Now!
Powerful and Direct!
It’s Not Over is The F-use’s New Single | Edgar Allan Poets
The F-use was started by songwriter and instrumentalist Matthew Estevez while he was in middle school in Waxhaw, North Carolina. Inspired by the debut Foo Fighters album, he started to learn many instruments, starting with drums, to guitar, bass, and (tried) singing. After many years of practicing and hopping in and out of punk bands, Matt kept working on his love for music and songwriting.
From jamming along to songs and writing as often as possible – Matt is now out of college and living in Nashville, Tennessee pursuing music and songwriting. In the few years, Matthew has put out a debut album and a handful of singles where he wrote and played every instrument while having a hand in recording, production and mixing. He is now spreading the good word of rock n’ roll with his friends Mason (drums), Brad (guitar) and Drew (bass) playing shows as The F-use around Nashville and surrounding areas.
