Good Day Noir Family,
our “E.A.Poets Approved/Bands We Like” section is dedicated to The Marabar Caves. I discovered this Band while shuffling songs on Spotify and I liked their direct and energetic music.
The sound of this band convinced me right away because it brings with it those beautiful vintage vibes of the music of the 80s.
The thing that struck me the most is that however, this band managed to insert modern elements to keep up with the new musical styles.
The music of The Marabar Caves is direct and sincere and you feel that these guys have a great experience behind them and that they have a great musical understanding.
While listening to Suicide Mission I thought about bands like The Cure, The Clash … in short, the legendary English bands that still make us dance today.
The passion that The Marabar Caves put into composing and performing their music is contagious.
A nice discovery that I recommend to everyone.
Suicide Mission is The Marabar Caves’ Single Out Now!
Direct and Cool!
Suicide Mission is the second new single from re-formed English post-punk band The Marabar Caves. After being active between 1984 and 1994 and gigging extensively, the band went on an extended break which finally ended in 2018 with three original members, Tony Riseley, Bill Westley and Steve Goddard being joined by new bass player Duncan Bisatt.
The band are rapidly re-establishing their reputation for energetic and entertaining live performances and the new music reflects this muscular and exciting approach.
