our “E.A.Poets Approved/Bands We Like” section is dedicated to Fanchon. I discovered this Artist while shuffling songs on Spotify and I liked the uniqueness of her style.
The sound proposed by this girl immediately convinced me.
A compositional method that takes its cue from the 90s, early 2000 but manages to be modern at the same time.
The chord progression in the chorus reminded me of Korn with spectacular dissonances that make the sound unstable and sinister … fantastic!
Fanchon’s magical voice seems to hide a secret and his vocal timbre is very intriguing and fascinating.
While listening to the new single Rsm SMiLE I felt hypnotized like Ulysses when he heard the chant of the Mermaids for the first time during his Odyssey.
This music is powerful and mesmerizing and this artist is very talented. To be kept under the radar absolutely.

FANCHON is a creative artist and songwriter who describes her sound as alternative rock infused with dream pop and grunge influences. Her childhood was spent traveling between France, England, Poland and the Netherlands which inspired sensitive reflections on self-discovery, loss and romanticism that make their way into both her music and poetry.
