our “E.A.Poets Approved/Bands We Like” section is dedicated to The Chris Ruben Band. I discovered this Band while shuffling songs on Spotify and I like the rock atmosphere created by their music.
As soon as I hit the play button I immediately realized that I was in front of incredible musicians.
The compositional experience of this band is undeniable and it is evident that The Chris Ruben Band spent many hours in the rehearsal room to reach such an enviable sound understanding.
A solid sound, direct and without strings attached that takes its cue from the legendary rock of the past. These guys were able to mix different genres, however, and to make them coexist in a perfect balance.
The production is impeccable, the chord progression is never predictable and banal and the mix lets every sound element breathe well. All the songs on this Ep are great.
A band to keep under the radar, we are faced with real professionals.
