our “E.A.Poets Approved/Bands We Like” section is dedicated to Barry Tierney. I discovered this artist while shuffling songs on Spotify and I like the atmosphere created by his music.
The thing that I immediately liked is the warm voice of this talented artist.
His music brings with it the Irish tradition and I imagined myself there on the pier looking at the Atlantic, lost in my thoughts thinking about past adventures.
The vocal interpretation of this artist is so passionate that it makes you believe the words of the lyrics and manages to touch the listener’s heart and soul.
Barry Tierney is a sincere artist with a great soul who has no filters and puts all his heart and passion into his music.
The production is excellent and in particular, the mix that leaves the right space for each sound element.
A nice discovery that I recommend to everyone.

Barry Tierney is a multi-international award-winning singer and songwriter from Kinsale, in south Ireland. He is from a prestigious musical family on his mother’s side which includes several professors of music and Vincent Dowling, the late artistic director of The Abbey Theatre as well as a paternal connection to Finbar Wright the internationally renowned tenor. Barry’s unique singing voice and writing style are distinctly Irish and have gained him fans at home and abroad.
