Good Day Noir Family,
our “E.A.Poets Approved/Bands We Like” section is dedicated to Ollie Twohill. I discovered this Artist while shuffling songs on Spotify and I liked the atmosphere created by his music.
The compositional style of this artist is very interesting, a modern folk pop-rock that mixes classic nuances with more modern elements.
The thing that I liked the most is the melody and the vocal interpretation proposed by this talented artist.
His passion while he is singing makes you believe in the words sung in the lyrics. The production is excellent and in particular the mix that leaves the right space for each sound element and the song breathes well.
The chord progression is never predictable and banal and manages to entertain the listener from the first to the last second.
A nice discovery that I recommend to everyone.

Ollie is a 22-year-old singer songwriter based in the lush Northern Rivers of NSW Australia, who plays guitar based melodic indie pop/rock tunes. Been described as “if Mumford & Sons had a gruffer edge & Passenger was blessed with an Australian twang, you would probably end up with Ollie Twohill”. Have been playing live at venues for the past 5 years after learning my chops street busking throughout the NSW Northern Rivers and southern Gold Coast.
