I already reviewed Rofi James in the past but they are out now with a new single and I want to share my opinion about it.
These guys offer songs that are so well thought out and produced that you think you’ve already heard them as the soundtrack of some movie.
The chord progression is never predictable and banal and manages to entertain the listener from the first to the last second.
The proposed melodies are very catchy and the obsessive attention to every detail makes this music very refined.
I imagined myself looking at the sunrise in Berlin, a city so rich in history. I saw those colors… Rofi James have the ability to make you travel with your imagination and with their music they literally make you see what they describe in their songs.
Another beautiful song that I recommend everyone to go and listen.

After the success of their last single ‘Sorry’, Rofi James return with their latest song ‘Berlin Wall’. The song was written during Ireland’s initial lockdown during the Covid 19 pandemic. Berlin Wall “is a song about the desire to escape the monotonous routine and daily troubles of life during a pandemic.
The song was written by Ronan Flaherty, Jamie Murray and Joseph Flaherty, and mixed and produced by Dave Skelton. It was then mastered by Fergal Davis (Muse, Republic of Loose, The Divine Comedy). In the band’s own words, “Berlin Wall is about getting away from it all, longing for a break from the daily routine that one experiences when one is locked up, the familiar surroundings and the daily routine of living in a pandemic to escape in the hope of catching another glimpse of normalcy “.
