No Venus Moves is The Miller Test’s single Out Now

Good Day Noir Family,
The Miller Test are back with a new cool single and I want to share my thoughts about it.

I really liked the intriguing and mysterious atmosphere of this song.

I’ve heard noir vibes in it that made me imagine driving the streets of London on a rainy night where every drop on the windshield represents the problems of everyday life, those problems that aren’t as easy to clean as the wiper does with drops.

Hypnotic and nostalgic music that somehow comforts and supports you.

The production is professional as usual and the attention to every little detail is enviable. You feel that these guys enjoy playing together and that they spent a lot of time in the rehearsal room to achieve such an enviable sound understanding.

Another great song from a prolific and eclectic band.

Cool Groove!

London band The Miller Test will mark the release of their second album, Dead Blue, on November 5 with a single and video for the track No Venus Moves. Pitched somewhere between the 80s pop-soul of When Doves Cry/Billie Jean and the morose mumble-lyricism of later Leonard Cohen, all hooked together with two rounds of Stonesy doo-doo-doos, No Venus Moves could be the theme song for a millenarian cult, blending troublingly bleak observations with moments of pulsating pop exhilaration.
