Good Day Noir Family,
our “E.A.Poets Approved/Bands We Like” section is dedicated to No Vacancies. I discovered this Band while shuffling songs on Spotify and I liked the vibes of their songs.
Nice powerful and epic sound, these guys from Manchester immediately won me over.
The confident, high and powerful voice of the singer immediately distinguishes the overall sound of the band.
I feel that these guys have spent a lot of time in the rehearsal room to refine the technique and they have reached an enviable sound understanding.
The bass flawlessly follows the rhythmic designs of the kick drum and the guitars venture into riffs that sometimes make you think of those of the bands of the 90s.
The chord progression is never predictable and banal and the listener is entertained from the first to the last second.
The production is good, a little rough but in my opinion perfect for the genre proposed by this talented band.
A nice discovery that I recommend to everyone.
Bad Habits is No Vacancies’ Ep Out Now!
Cool Rock and Eclectic Sound!
Four-piece band playing original songs designed to get arses off seats. No Vacancies started off in 2019, when lead singer Will and drummer George were recording songs from their garage in Birmingham.
Eventually moved to Manchester, where they met Mancunian bassist Ben and Swiss lead guitarist Cédric. Since then, they played a number of gigs including supporting Kin Nun in 2020 and most recently in 2021 they recorded two new singles at the Motor Museum with number one selling producer Al Groves.
