Good Day Noir Family,
our “E.A.Poets Approved/Bands We Like” section is dedicated to The Lucas Warren Project. I discovered this Band while shuffling songs on Spotify and I liked their energy and style.
This band offers a musical approach that looks to the past but at the same time manages to be modern.
The great rock of the 80s is back and can be heard in the melodies created by The Lucas Warren Project.
Guitars that ventures into complicated passages and harmonies accompanied by a very cohesive rhythm section that manages to create a solid foundation that sustains their songs from the first to the last second.
We are faced with great musicians who manage to make riffs and arrangements seem simple but that are by no means trivial and obvious.
A nice discovery that I recommend to everyone

LWP is reminiscent of great heavy rock days from the late 70’s to the early 80’s while bringing a current, updated sound to the genre. The Road I Created was written, performed, recorded, mixed and mastered by the band.
The Lucas Warren Project’s debut album, The Road I Created is available everywhere. The Rock ‘n’ Roll duo’s album is packed with soaring vocals, heavy progressive styled rhythms and powerful lead guitars. Giving new life to a classic sound. Lucas Warren (Leads Vocals, Drums) and Brandon Hanson (Guitars) make up the duo and hail from the Bay Area in Northern California. Playing music in and out of others bands for years, the two finally decided in the fall of 2020 to take a stab at creating music together.
