From the very start, the band showcases their experimental spirit, blending psychedelic tones with futuristic touches in Hour 00: Robust Portfolio.
The opening sets the stage for what feels like a bold exploration of emotions and ideas, where retro inspirations meet modern creativity.
Hour 01: The Chain follows with an alternative rock edge, adding layers of depth through its intriguing melodies and rhythmic drive. The energy intensifies with Hour 02: The Monitors, a track anchored by a mysterious riff that immerses you.
The mid-album gem, Hour 09: The Grind, stands out with its epic and melancholic vibe, reminiscent of Depeche Mode’s finest moments. The emotional peak, however, comes with Hour 13: The Bombs Keep Falling. This track is a raw and nostalgic cry, evoking a profound sense of urgency and reflection.
As the album nears its conclusion, Hour 22: The Corpse brings a dystopian atmosphere, drawing the listener into a shadowy, thought-provoking space. Finally, Hour 23: Bacteria! provides a dynamic and satisfying end to the album, leaving you eager to hit replay and experience the journey again.
GLEET’s ability to blend genres and emotions makes 24 a standout work that resonates deeply with its listeners. It’s a bold, memorable album that captures the essence of experimentation and storytelling.

Visionary!
GLEET is an experimental music project born out of decades of friendship, jam sessions, and a shared love of pushing boundaries. The band’s core members, Gregor Former and Sam Neal, have been collaborating since the mid-90s, when they worked together at an off-license in London and started making up songs about their quirky customers. Over the years, their sessions, often joined by longtime friends Michael Chilokoa and later Kevin Mertens, evolved into epic multi-day jams where drum loops, synths, guitars, and bass collided in chaotic, genredefying soundscapes.
What began as a series of imaginary bands and wild concepts during Gregor’s time living in Bangkok morphed into something more tangible when the name GLEET was adopted in 2019, a nod to the idea of humans being Mother Nature’s gleet. The band’s sound, which they’ve coined Scrunt, is a wall of noise—layered, raw, and sometimes disjointed, yet uniquely captivating. Their avant-garde live debut in 2019 was a daring, continuous half-hour performance that, while polarizing, solidified GLEET’s reputation for pushing the limits of experimental music. After lockdowns halted their momentum, Gregor resumed work on their extensive archive of jams, culminating in the release of GLEET’s debut album, Pleased To Gleet You, in March 2023.
