2 Out Of 10 is Damien’s New Single

I already reviewed Damien in the past but he is out now with a new single and I want to share my thoughts about it.
This artist is incredible because he managed to create his unique sound recipe.
Damien has fused together electronic elements, tribal, industrial rhythms that take their cue from the past but at the same time manage to be futuristic.
The new single 2 Out Of 10 reminded me of Cameo. The cadence and energy of the song made me think of Word Up!
This artist has a great compositional experience behind him and it is evident because he has developed a remarkable musical taste that makes all of his songs intriguing.
An artist that I believe will be able to get noticed by the masses as he proposes original and innovative music.
Absolutely reconfirmed.

‘2 Out Of 10’is very much a pointed critique at the way in which we tend to rate and value people based on their appearance, and also the tendency many of us have to undervalue ourselves, and thus look for others for validation. This trend seems to be particularly prominent in men, with recent studies suggesting the majority of men will actively seek out a partner they perceive as more physically attractive than themselves.
Differing from the industrial influences of the two previous singles, ‘2 Out Of 10’ draws musical inspiration from bands like The Dandy Warhols and The Strokes and was written and produced by DAMIEN in his home studio in Ipswich QLD, mixed by Hugh Middleton of Out With The In studios in West End, QLD, and mastered by Matthew Gray (Brisbane).
